I got mine for just under $400 delivered awhile back before everyone has those baffled sump plates, and then sold my OEM oil sump to someone here for $100, so at the end of the day, I spent $300 on it, not bad considering the quality is exceptional.

remove headers - 1 hour
remove sump - 1 hour
refit new sump - 45 mins
refit headers - 45 mins

so it is a ~4 hour job...

cost = $0

You might also want to leave the car in a dry place overnight before putting new oil back in for the glue to dry.

Random ? Isn't the sump glued on as well as bolted on ? With mine it is anyway. Hence you need to make sure the glue is dry first.

it is not glue, it is RTV sealant...
