lol when i DIY my baffled sump i filled it up with oil and went straight away, its been 6 months and still not leaking

I also DIY'd at the beginning of the year and reused the sump gasket, no leaks so far

i would love to DIY and save the $165 but i dont really have any experience with using gaskets and RTV to seal etc etc..

also there is having to take the header apart to get to the sump.. will that have a gasket to refit/seal too?..

considering it is a 4hr job as spelled out by tinkerbell i suspect paying for it might be the way to go.. and i dont own a torque wrench..

if i was NSW i could get tinkerbell to come be my supervisor to make sure i didnt fark anything up...

i re-used my sump gasket and applied a bit of sealant, re-used the exhaust manifold gasket with no sealant
only thing i used torque wrench on was the exhaust manifold bolts and sump pan itself
