From what I can read, it happens to lots of people, and there is no real solution for it, short of bolting in a plate over the exhaust to keep it dry.

Oh wow, this happened to me when I had a steel catback. As soon as I changed to a stainless steel setup, it stopped. That was what made the difference for me I guess.sigpic

Just to dig this thread up again. I found this today while scoping through parts.

it's a panel that bolts up underneath the engine. it supposedly helps with cooling and aero, but I was thinking it could be a solution to this problem as well? Anyone had one? thought of getting one?
Only problem is $400 is a big gamble if it doesnt fix the issue.

happens during idle, neutral, accelerate...
