      im quite suprised with the figure my self i was expecting around that.

      Dyno Dynamics was at the workshop 2 weeks prior to today re-calibrating and servicing the system so it makes me think its quite accurate!

      Shakeel, go to incar racing, do some power runs and see what figures you get then

        In the world of drag racing 1 second is a MASSIVE difference. With a near stock DC5R you should be getting high 14's (14.7+)

          my stock dc5r pulled 113.5kw same goes with another mate with a dc5r thought it was average =/

            113.5 is pretty good....cant compare dynos anyway

            this is a pretty useful comparison from hondatech.com.au;




            stock audm DC5 w stock ecu : 100.2atw

              does it matter if i get my car tuned before i put in a new clutch and lighten flywheel or do i have to do that first before kpro?

                Shouldn't matter.. A littler fly and clutch wont change dyno results.. As power doesn't change.. But car will rev happier..

                      When i put the lightend flywheel in my SSS from a 12kg to a 3.9kg i felt the difference only when i had a full load of people. I could go up this certain hill near my place with a full car in 5th, but after the flywheel it wouldnt make it in 5th which resulted knocking it back to 4th.

                        J's Racing 68mm Throttle Body
                        Mugen Twin Loop Exhaust
                        J's Racing Headers with Heat Wrapping

                        Place of dyno:BYP
                        Dyno sheet or kW atw: Stock' 125kw- with Kpro -132.6 kw
                        Added RBC ,Full Exhaust and 68mm T/B- 141kw

                        a Number of minor things resulted in a 139.6 Today for a base run
                        Now tuned with E85 - 145 kw

                          As you said you loss inertia.. At a stand still you will need to apply more gas to get going.. With the hill situation, You car must have been lossing speed when in 5th before at that speed, But now with the lighter fly.. As there is less inertia the revs will drop faster. But the power out put is the same, Lighter flywheel makes the car rev faster and also drop in revs quicker.. Great for track work.. But the inertia is lost. Harder to take off smoothly and the apprant loss of torque, Can also cause unsmooth idle in some cases ive seen!

                              Well all own dc2 and dc5 so we no our weights.. Also just because u have a High top speed doesn't mean you run abetter time then some one who ran with a lower topspeed
