Hey all,
I have had a bit of trouble installing my Takata Harness eye bolt in a suitable place for the centre console side lap belt (with the buckle). There are no places on the rail or on the OEM buckle bracket that places the belt far away enough from the seat harness hole so the metal slider doesnt hit it.
I spoke with Revolution Racegear about it and they said i have 2 options:
1. Drill a stress plate into the floor (not 100% keen to drill a hole into my car)
2. Make a bracket and fix it to the rear seat rail bolt next to the centre console
Just want to see if anyone knows the best shaped bracket to make up to do this?
MY only concern with this is the bracket spinning around if there is a significant force on the belt....
Heres a couple pics to show you guys where the eye bolt should be roughly.....
Let me know if you have any ideas
