      On the 'reliable' bit, i don't want an engine that will break down every so often. No disrespect to drag racing, but i don't think the strains on the engine are as much as full circuit racing.

        have u checked out FLICK's civic on ozhonda and jdmst? phill built that engine...and lets just say, it's definatly pushing some boundaries....like i said man....i take my car on mountain runs and drag racing....and its currently my dd....end of the day its ur call...but my advice is speak to phill as you will not find anyone better when it comes to k series in aus...and no one can argue with that

          In Aus agree, Phil has built the most K series engine. You read too much into our post. Everything is not about Phil and his engine.

            JDMYARD sold a full built i.e head/block ERL 2.6L stroked long block for that coin. I dare say no one in AUS will be able to build you similar spec motors for that much.

                Wouldn't say i've "full circuit raced", but open track days can be quite easy on your car. It's up the drivers to determine how hard to push. You can still have fun and set good times with out hitting rev limiter or even going to red line, and slamming through gears.

                    True Jim/Ben/John as I get confused in who the f&*( you are online. Your online antics are full of crap. The last high spec engine that JDMYard brought in from ERL seemed to be a bit of a dud struggling to peak 200 atw kw so yes one of there engines have been tested here in AU and is currently running in a DC5 on E85 so there is totally nothing to brag about. Fadis DC5 is a street run daily PULP 98 and manages to run a 12.4 and then cruise back to wagga with no issues. So weigh it up. Local K building is totally possible its when bullshit artists like your selves who read and believe everything you see.

                                will get better times once i get back into drag racing again with the same setup

                                everyone knows US dynos read alot higher....im making what, 240hp or so...trapping 109.9 mph on slicks....US dc5's with 300+hp trap these speeds....on another note, isn't you guys that always say dyno numbers mean shit all, and that trap speed is how u measure real power
