DC5R : AUDM vs JDM

I took this a lil while back, comparo of an AUDM Type-R/Type-S header next to a JDM Type-R header. The pipe diameter is about 4mm bigger on the JDM one if i remember correctly.

DC5R engine and EP3R engine in japan are the same.

Only the headers and exhaust are slightly different, which is the difference in the slight power difference.

What's the difference in the header????

Good info from everyone above, but white_r actually seems to be asking for info on the difference between the JDM DC5R header and the JDM EP3R header. Does anyone actually know if there is a difference? They look pretty much the same in all the pictures I have seen.

JDM DC5R and JDM EP3R header are the same as far as i know. The ones in that pic were off a DC5

Does anyone know what size donut gasket is needed for the JDM header?? (I'm referring to the donut gasket that would be in the middle of the spring bolts)

Hi all,

Comparing JDM and AUDM body shells, what is the main differences?

Front ends appear to be the same except for JDM Projector Headlights for HIDs.
JDM has folding mirrors as opposed to AUDM
JDM rear bar has smaller number plate area.
JDM wheels are 17" and have less offset.

What about front bumper and front lip and rear lip?

JDM head lights are not projectors. They are still reflector type but the difference is the reflector is designed for HID with a clearer cut off.

Jdm wheels are 10mm higher offset, but their hubs push out an extra 15mm.

Another thing i noticed are the door handles (inside) are slightly different.. The angle is off, i changed to type r door inserts and for ones from japan, luckkily it came with handles also
