However, Ichishima's answer took me by surprise. He doesn't think the DC5 is as good a base as the CL7. In fact, he admits to be unimpressed with the DC5 as a base for modifications. My question to Mr spoon would be:
"How will the tie up make this hobby (racing) more affordable to the normal weekend track warrior who have no sponsorship? - What will the local track community have to benefit from this relationship that we don't already have with the existing tuning houses?"
