now i dont work at proconcept, but we are helping with organising the event at the next trackday so i dont know for sure..

but from what i hear, from talking with josh etc, is that spoon products being made officially available here will mean they will be cheaper than whats currently around... and thats great news already right?

on top of that, i understand that spoon is the 2nd largest honda spare parts buyer in the world. so you can probably source brand new oem jdm parts too, like brand new jdm dc2 headlights or something

what i am most excited about is that spoon making a presence here means that they are taking interest in Aussie motorsport and the tuning scene in general... now if they decide to ship out a spoon developed full on race car to race here, thats pretty darn cool for us tuners too.

at the end of the day, even if proconcept will be benfiting most from this partnership (they did make it in the first place), they will have access to all of spoon technology to help their racing efforts get better (i think a new engine will arrive soon for one of the cars)... that means that what they learn from tuning hondas from the most respected honda tuner in history, will only be passed on to their customers right?

so perhaps we should ask that question to ichishima... What does this mean for Australian Tuners? How will Spoon benefit the Australian Tuning Market?

The honda tuning scene in America is well known. Have you seen many of the honda owners ride with spoon parts in America? Are you proud of your achievements in this regard as a business?

I think it's great they are 'officially' entering the Australian market.
Just means more technical support for their products locally.
