i reckon one thing i always notice about dc5's is that they sit so high, as in the driver sits up, seems less jap/race/rice spec to me. definately aimed at older crowd, plus too many around.

It's only an extra 0.2L? What are you crazy! The K has much more potiential and the difference in torque speaks for itself. For those who have been in a K swapped car would know how it feels compared to a B series.

most k-swapped cars are firstly lighter ie EF EG EK therefore they will always be faster than DC5r so that probably isnt the fairest comparison.
2ndly the motors are rarely stock in the k-swapped cars as most have hondata and are tuned. agreed that the k20a is a superior motor for many reasons over b18c7 but the DC5R just isnt as good as DC2R. solution = k-swap DC2R

Stock for Stock. DC2R. I know because I've owned a DC5R and driven a DC2R.
The DC2R is in the EVO Magazine Top 10 Best Driver's Cars 'of all time'. NSX-R is one of them also.
The DC2R will be the classic. Get that if you want a keeper.Comment

The dc5r is detuned i have a mugen ecu pulled out an extra 10 more kws at the wheels what you on about bring whats the best a dc2r at the wheels produced?? commonly the dc5r modded pulls out between 120rwks to 180rwks tell me what dc2r pulls worked????Comment
