A week or 2 ago I was coming back from I can't remember & needed to go to coles, so my gf & I decided to drop into Coles at Centro Roselands. While I was reversing my car into a spot this trolley starting rolling down the hill & just missed my car & smacked straight into the car right next to me. I luckily reversed just in time for the trolley not to hit my front. I would of been so pissed if it did. Reason why I hate shopping car parks & would rather park far away & walk.

Being constantly asked why I spend so much money and time on my car, or being told its a waste of money.

I'm aware of that. I just don't like being constantly told it! haha

cars are money pitts. but its the inspiration that gives us the motivation to do such things.. like spending money on the car to make it to your taste or someone elses ride haha

                Finding rust.

Loved my '64 EH Holden, knew there was rust in some of the hanging panels but removed the K-frame front end to find... too damn much structural rust. I miss that car and wanted it to go places.

Now I've found my E30's boot leaks and the rear quarters need a rust cut.

One of the other teachers at work found rust in the guards of his S2000 - bad re-spray job by the looks of it.

The hobby is great until oxidisation kills your spirit.

Hate other people's generalisation of your hobby as being a hoon / d**khead.

I still mention it in all my job interviews etc, never failed so far! Always a fellow enthusiast in the panel =p

Not being able to have nice things in the car because other people try stealing them when you park, or others door banging your car when you park it.

1 - Always paranoid about leaving my car unattended under any circumstance.

                        2 - Finding new scratches/dents.

3 - Wankers whinging about VTEC, Honda in general.

Its either, "Is it a type r bro?", "give it a hit", or " has it got vtec?"

usually something along the lines of vehicle mechanics/engineering and an interest in broadening my knowledge in the field. Shows I have other interests in life and usually it's a nice conversation starter, especially when you mention Honda!

I'm sure other EP3/DC5 owners will know ... When you approach a speed hump you KNOW your lips and all that can clear.. but your mid-pipe doesn't quite make it.
