Energy Suspension Motor Mount Inserts. These pieces of hardened rubber which you force into your broken or torn up mounts and they're pretty much good to go again.
Lisa is a nut. She has a rubber butt. Everytime she turns around it goes putt putt.

Well my mounts are not broken, but would they be good enough for aftermarket headers? Not looking to spend too much on mounts.

im not an expert, but on clubrsx the general opinion is that they are, and their what im using for my headers.

but i think if you have the cash...

Sorry for another noob question. Is it easy to change engine mounts? if not how much would a mechanic charge to change the mounts? I'm thinking of just leaving the stock mounts on for now and upgrade the mounts later. (should be fine if i dont floor the gas pedal rite?)

not too hard, lots of good DIY on the net and on clubitr. get the help of a friend and a hoist makes it easier.

Hey guys, I have just installed some Hasport Mounts 62A mounts into my DC5. But the vibration is quite bad... is it just me?

Give it 2 weeks to break in

I've got 60a innovative and after the break In period, I find that's it's very soft and close to stock. Jaz's dc5 has 62a and there's a noticeable difference. I much prefer the 62a.

62A are harsh but they're not too intense. Give it a few weeks to settle.

Don't mind me asking, whats the purpose of you upgrading your engine mounts to Hasports?

Just wanted to upgrade them since I got all my breathing mods. Heard the stock mounts will crack very easy when the engine gets too much power (planning to get it tuned in the future) so basically just want to get all the support mods done first.

Thanks for all the replies guys, was so scared that I will have to live with all these vibration... (my steering wheel was actually shaking =S) I drove it around for quite abit today and I can feel it noticeably softer (thank god!).

Keep us in the loop how you feel 1,2 weeks down the track as I'm also looking into getting some Hasports. Keen to know how vibrations are, and if they're worth it!

                        Cheers

So far so good, you can feel the power coming from the engine. Sounds and feels alot more sporty, other than the vibration I think it is really good. Will definitely let you guys know in a few weeks time =)

If any of you boys are around Westside Melbourne, I can give you a short ride so you can see how they feel once settled.

I'd be extremely interested. Never really get a good chance to try before i buy so would appreciate that! So do you have the 62A in or the 60A?
