Your going to spend 3-6k on a K20, if i was you, i'd find something run down, something cheap cause your going to be replacing every single part to gain every single KW out of the car. I suggest you find an Engine builder to speak to him/her about your goals, no point asking here because people are going to suggest this and that. Stick to what's proven to make results and work out what you wanna do.
Are you intending to make this happy very quickly or is it going to slowly over 1-2-3-4-5 years?
By the way, biggest key to gaining the most KW's out of your motor is the specification of what FUEL you'll use because at the end of the day that's where it all begins.
