    DC2R build advice

    hi guys i'm looking to rebuild my dc2r b18c and fully change all the internals pistons cams etc and was hoping i could get some advice what parts would be best to use i'm aiming to build the fastest dc2r in aus so say for example you had unlimited budget what parts would be recommended to achieve this goal ????????

    Fastest DC2R in Aus? Start with scrapping the B18 and getting a k24 and your already half way there.

      Abit of a harsh statement. I think we should respect him if he decides to continue with his B series.

      Quick question, would this car be a road legal or a pure track car may I ask? You mentioned rebuild. Would you still stay N/A or would you go force inducted?

          maybe see it from different perspective rather than spending bank on the engine, manufacture itr chassis using carbon fibre or something.

            yeah my budget is around 15k and yes i wan't the car to be street legal and wan't to stick with the b18 as it's the original motor for the dc2r

              Not intended to be its actually a factual statement.

              K24 motor can be had for as little as $700-$1000. Leaves him with 14k to build that motor, with 14k he could have a VERY VERY quick DC2 K24.

              But since OP wants to stay B18 i reckon stroker 1.9 or 2L b18

                  still not fastest dc2 in aus for sure.

                  idk how it would be if devil wants to turbo his b.

                    Mmm i guess your pretty close. Exhaust would be cheaper just getting it custom made though 3" all the way i spose you wouldn't buy branded stuff. and motor is 2k with maybe cams and springs,retainers but bare k24 can be had for 900bux!

                        K24a3 or not a3, with his budget, he'd most likely rebuild it if he went K series. But I think lets stick with his topic of B series and let some the B series experts give their ideas. Unfortunately I've only looked into K series.

                          This is what i've decide on so far except i'm not sure of the intake if i will use mugen or j's racing.
