1. havent met "him whos name we do not speak" cant comment
2. never seen any "completed" work of his except one 5 years ago..

got some results guys.........................

we had some overboosting problems (still need to be rectified)...................but the car made some good power regardless..................

So far 222kw at the wheels at 7000rpm with a 9psi spring in wastegate, however boost was creeping too 12psi and the gate was just starting to hold it and open and regulate the boost at 12psi.....................

yes i am tuning on a HUB dyno (which will and does read higher than a roller)

all the part throttle tuning has been done which is mainly the NA side of it, and also finished tuning the vtec NA side of things, now its chasing power and making it safe........

i hope to get my new wastegate springs tomorrow and maybe use a boost controller if need be and finish this tune once and for all..........................

i will keep u guys updated....................ohh no videos or pics yet, and im not enjoying it as i have been restricted to a 4300rpm rev limiter.....................lol

hopefully we can sort out the over boosting problem with my new wastegate springs tonight or tomorow and then off to the track for some definate 1/4mile times.....................if all goes well tonight or tomorrow i will be at calder park racing away on the 8th november (next saturday)

if you read my post............its the part throttle driving (cruzing) which correct me if im wrong, u dont sit on boost whilst cruzing on part throttle, hence the car has been tuned off boost (NA side) and is all good to go...............just need to cleatr up the full throttle tuning with correct boost settings

Simular setup to mine Tom's is. Definatly feels like an NA car around town. Don't even touch boost.

Congrats on the numbers Tom. Ramhorns flow very well, drives that turbo hard.
