i dont think R/T counts to your Final Quartermile run.. you can sit at the stagging lights for 2 hours if they let you and still do a 13 second pass..

and i thought his 60ft time was quite decent already ^_^.. mine never got anywhere close to 2.1 haha.. then again he is using baller tyres...

yeh ur right R/T doesn’t mean nothing for your actual time………………my 60ft has gone a 1.9 on the same semi’s when I was NA,

on Saturday I did get a better 60ft of 2.035 on the 12.90 pass…………….but I was shattered that run…(slipping clutch)………..but will see what happens with taller slicks as I was crossing the line on rev limiter in 4th with 205/50/15 (23.2inch tall)

so hopefully I can get some 225/50/15 (24inch tall )in time for next meeting …………..

yeh i wish i could do 1.9 60ft atm...........when it was NA with 135kw (hub dyno) i was rev dump at 7000rpm with 205/50/15 toyo r888 semis and full grip with exedy heavy duty clutch lol...................

Well spoken. back home we have some street cars running some pretty good times. my friends 9.3 in his 95 civic coupe. Our street classes are pretty competitive

Well 1kW = 1.34hp but there is more to it to that. US dynos seem to be calibrated or setup to read a much higher amount of wheel horsepower. For example a stock K20A2 DC5 in Australia might pull around 110kW or 147hp at the wheels whereas they seem to be comfortably in the mid 170 whp range in the US. I have no idea why.

but when a dyno gets involved, it is hard to compare... US dyno's typically read about 10-20% higher than aussie ones...

I guess calibrations are different. what kind of dyno machines do you guys have here generally there are two companies that people use mustang dyno and dynojet

our dynos read less power, or a calibrated differently to the US, but my car makes 321hp at the wheels with converstion from kw..................

ours are "rolling road" style and "hub style"

it is the rolling road that is most common and we have Dyno Dynamics down here: http://www.dyno.com.au/dyno/controller

most of ours are the rolling type also. in my state theres 4 awd dynos and the rest are usually regular ones but. the dynojet is the most accurate compared to the mustang dyno
