Actually, on stock ITR gearing, you definately need 3rd going into the right hander after the fish hook. Holding 2nd means you're just bouncing off the rev limiter.

what about when approaching turn 3 (the left hander)? should u be in 4th or hitting the limited in 3rd?

i hit the limiter in 3rd before the corner and i think i could gain some time from there..

I also went out with 'The Sam'...we got a bit too intimate and my legs are trembling as I got out of the car.

There was a white one that was smoking after the fish hook through to the right hander...Whoever that was, you've probably got oil surge, looks like you're quick enough to warrant a baffled sump!

Yeah that was me, I do need a baffled sump. The tran boys were telling me to do it soon to protect the motor more. Does anyone have any idea wher i can get this done for a reasonable price?

You can buy sumps or Adrian from Toda have got plates you can weld into the sump
