Unfortunately I don't have any close up pics of the porting, the main objective we had was to get the bottom end together - the head is just sitting on there so we could wrap it all up. Hopefully we'll get the head on and the cams dialled in along with checking the piston to valve clearance this weekend - where I'll snap some more pics.Originally posted by freakygeek View PostMore pics of the head porting! Looks awesome. Can't wait to see this beast running....
The throttles are together and require some fine tuning, the catch can is being made up and we still have to work out how to get the filter over the throttles. We had a bit of a set back there and cut up the $150 backing plate is the wrong places
So we're fibreglassing it back together and may be looking at fabricating a new one out of aluminum.

yes, looked like 84mm bores, but also look like they are cast pistons - not forged?Originally posted by WhiteDC2 View PostJust under 2000cc
are they the pistons that you are using?Last edited by tinkerbell; 03-10-07, 06:53 PM.... retired/

Not a B18C crank, I believe it's an accord crank with modified rods. The bottom end was bought from Japan, it was originally built by Toda Japan and I've freshened it up. It's got a very long stroke.Originally posted by TODA RACING Aust - AdrianIn your case, clearly you have a combination that is bordering on crap...
