NSW: ClubITR Go-Kart Challenge Reflection Thread

Just want to thank SPL_K for organising the event and to who ever else was involved to making the day happen!

Was a fun filled day with some competitive racing, bit of drifting (my favourite), some spins and definitely some body aches and pains!
Unfortunately they wouldn't let me set up my GoPro to the helmet or gokart for safety reasons so no footage or photos!

Felix did manage to capture some photos on his phone of the group and the podium winners which I'm sure he will post later!

Lunch after at Penrith Seafood in Wetherill park was a good way to top off the day! Freshly cooked fish and chips with drink and sauce $10.50 can't go wrong!

Comment back your thoughts guys, can't wait to do it again!

P.S - I promise I won't be so quick next time

Yes thanks so much to Trevor for organizing this. I really hope we can do it again one day soon!

I loved the small group of 13 we had, which in my opinion made it much more fun. Maybe we should keep it to 15 spots for the next time?

I still think Phillip had some performance enhancing fuel in his kart haha .

I'm buggered. Thanks Trevor for organising the event! Had a great time. My hips hurt from the chair.

Phillip was too fast. We were pretty sure he was there the day before practicing on the same track. Very quick lap times. It's definitely more fun when you're chasing someone or trying to drift the corners.

Lunch at Penrith Seafood was great too. Good times.

Was a pleasure to organise the day and yes a smaller group is more fun otherwise the track would be too congested! It sounds like everyone enjoyed their day and I definitely did. Yonas messaged me last night asking when the next one was! lol

I suppose we should have a ClubITR Go Kart thread if this happens more often with fastest lap times, outright winners, etc.

I just checked my email and received my results from all of yesterdays sessions! I hope you put your real email address when you registered at the computers lol. My PB was 44.840... a good 0.62 seconds behind Phillip. I've got a lot to make up for or we should just give him a helping push off the track haha.

If you guys are keen for another one to happen before the end of the year please send me a PM and I'll see what I can do again

Looks like a good day out! Definitely bummed that I missed out and if another one does happen I'm definitely down!

My PB was 45.444, really bummed that last heat I got sugi's first kart which was the slower one oh well, next time, definately keen trev gonna get my own helmet for next time and for future track events
