Not true guy, his guard work is just like mine, good from afar but far from good. Who are you going to get to pull your guards to fit your massive new tyres?

the yanks seem to like putting wider and/or lower offset on the rear.

That's because they're idiots and keeping the "arse dragger" term alive.

The only reason someone would want to do that is to brag about width. From a performance aspect, no tuner would tell you there's benefit in a wider rear tyre on cars such as FWD Honda.

its funny whenever ppl tell them that it has no performance benefit. they just say "stop hating"

theres nothing wrong running 235 at teh back and 225 at the front right?

i mean what difference is it going to make?

im just saying that if your 235's are running on low tread and there are heaps of meat on the back ones

I'm guessing most of you geeks have already seen this particular site... but for those who haven't

                    Rimtuck

Looking through the site I've noticed a few EG's, EK's and DC2's from here and OzHonda, so a few guys know about it.

I was thinking of throwing my weak fitment on there...

                      im considering:

                      work emotions XT7
                      18X9.5 +20 offset
                      colour is MHG (Bronze)

Are these tooo wide to mount ontoa dc5?

i dont want tyre stretch either...can someone reccomened a tyre profile and width please?

No that isn't too wide to fit the car but you will need stretch or quite a lot of camber to get them to tuck. With a 245/35 I imagine somewhere in the vicinity of 4 degrees of negative camber front and rear would be required, possibly even more. This is along with rolled guards at the rear and no fenderliners and the tabs bent up at the front.

pretty sure the offset is going to be a problem. you said ur car is low as well

roll your guards and get some camber going

                          also 235's should fit them

Are you sure that would fit on a DC5?

EDIT: Are you talking that size ALL ROUND?

                                Also
Tyre size recommendation for that size: i wouldn't go any narrower than 245. Ideally, 255 would fit nicely.
