I havent introduced me car yet so this is a awesome opportunity for me to do so, Ive recently purchased my first DC5R not too long ago, from a mate, it was built and tuned at toda and the list as follows:
The engine was a re-build and the gearbox was overhauled
Engine overhaul contents are as follows:
PRB-2 intake manifold (DC5 Type S – same as JDM DC5R PRC) match ported to throttle
TODA Racing K20A (EP3/DC5) CIVIC INTEGRA Type-R Big Single Throttle
TODA Racing K20A High Power Profile Camshaft (Spec F)
TODA Racing K20A/F20C/F22C Up Rated Valve Springs (Set)
TODA Racing K20A Heavy Duty Chain Tensioner
TODA Racing K20A Increased Capacity 2150 KIT (Stroker kit)
Kit contents: TODA forged piston KIT (ø87.0mm)
Special crankshaft (90.7mm stroke, High accuracy dynamic balanced)
Standard designed connecting-rods (Fully floating with bush & balanced)
TODA Racing K20A (EP3/DC5) High Stopper Metal Head Gasket (ø87.2mm)
TODA Racing K20A (DC5) Ultra Light Weight Chrome-molly Flywheel & Clutch KIT (sports disc)
TODA Racing K20A (DC5/EP3) Exhaust Manifold (4-2-1 SUS)
Other parts:
Cat back exhaust system from memory was a “Trust – PE II”
Intake is INJEN Cold Air intake
ECU – Hondata K100
Total output now is 156kw atm but i rekon with a retune could potentially be over 160kw
Toda recommended me if i wanted more power to do the following
Repair or replace the header
TODA quad throttle intake + carbon air box + GruppeM air box
TODA straight tail cat back exhaust system
Fit baffled sump & oil cooler for circuit use
These will bump up my power output to 180kw
Suspension
Sitting on Tien HA
AKOM inverted tie rods
Also my plan it to convert to a type S back with the mugen rear lip so fingers cross on this one >< !!!
Soooo this is my baby, anyways post away what you think or recommended me doing OHhh im also getting new wheels, getting a set of ROTAs GRIDS in matt black. =D cant wait.
I love my car and build because when the Po Po's pull me over they cant tell if my car has been modded because everything is all internals, i have engineer certificates for my loud exhaust and intake thats about it and they have nothing on me. love it
