So i've booked myself in for a NoLimits track event on the 17th of October. Meanwhile getting a few stuff ready. Received my brake kit today with custom brackets to suit JDM DC5R hub and pads. Will be installing 1st Oct. The AP kit looks very well built, but will be keen to test them out on the 17th.

Meanwhile I also ordered an OMP Grand Prix 10 HANS helmet and Alpinestars Tech 1 Racing gloves.

Curious to know, what minor paint troubles you having?

Thanks dude. Saved up for them. Won't deny it. The tax return did help the brakes.

Yeh will do Matt. They seem quite beefy and the fact that I have second thoughts of staying within the 2L class now has made me consider the choice of 17" rims.

Just minor overspray in certain sections and inside the door frames. Nothing big or dramatic. Just stuff that I'd like to be 100% perfect considering the price I paid for. Overall they have done an excellent job.

Thanks Josh. Just to let you know, the brackets that I got from you, the holes were like 1-2mm too small for the subframe bolt to pass through to the very end. Its ok as I won't be installing the splitter till next year anyway but thought I pass it on. On an awesome note! gloves and helmet are here

That's odd Norm. What size bolt does the AUDM integra use for the subframe? The usdm version uses a 17mm bolt and that is what I had the brackets machined to. It's a very tight fit because I didn't want any unnecessary play. You cannot push it all the way through but it should sink through as you continue to tighten it down. I can make a small vid to show you if you'd like. Keep me posted.

Maybe through 1/5 of our bolt at eh top end I believe it gets tapered to 18mm. Its not a big issue as I still have to machine it to the same size as the rigid collars and thats even still slightly bigger.

The last of my parts have arrived for my brake overhaul and safety. Schroth Profi III ASM, 3" should & lap harness and new wheel bearings for the front. Part number #44300-S47-008. Its the same part number as the s2000. In addition I bought a pit-king tyre pressure gauge for track use.

Hey Yonas, thanks dude! The current wheel spec is abit too aggressive for my 2L intention. Running 265/35/18 toyo r1r all 4's. looking to change back to 17" 9.5 front or 9 and 8.5 rear. But nonetheless, going to test the current setup on track and go from there.

Yeh. Probably only thing after this is just a baffle sump and then after consumables from now on.
