I think steve is gonna buy every companys shifter mod.

I kinda want a short shifter again. I been driving an mx5 for past month, the shifter is nice and tight and stiff. When i jumped back in my dc5, its incredibly sloppy, with lots of play.

Play is a result of the pivot ball in the OEM shifter arm wearing out and having a low tolerance.

Told you you shouldnt have sold your JTC shifter Ill get you an extra Mtec shifter arm.

I find it perfectly fine

Yours is probably rattling around like crazy at low revs, buy some adhesive padded strips to get rid if it.

Put it on the sway bar under where the gruppeM sits and put some under the cowl the whole way around. You can also put some under the bonnet where the intake scoop sits.
