I just took my car down fora thrash on the m7 and there was a massive differenc ein handling, when i chucked on my old tyres, RE050A.. bout 50% tread remainig compared 2 my re001's.

yeah will be getting some good tyres when I pick up some rims.

Finally got my hands on the car I was looking for! Seem to be rare in Australia, this was only the 2nd white type s I've seen for sale in Aus in the last 3-4 months so I snapped it up. I believe I'm the 3rd owner, the previous owner bought the car 4 months ago from Rick Damelian and it's in really good nick. Anyway, some pictures!

Never realised it was so high stock!





Stivo will be missed but DC5 potential is much higher in my opinion. In stock form it out handles the stivo with ease.

First thing in order will be a set of coils and some wheels. Also looking to source a full mugen lip kit from somewhere so we'll see how that goes. Might be heading to the US on holidays so I'll see if I can pick anything up over there.

fair enough.. i wanna get spacers for my car, but if i get spacers, i'd get hub centric bolt ons (do it peroperly), but the h&R ones are expensive.... mgiht as well sell my wheels n get aftermarket wheels lol.

Also, went to Heasmans to adjust something yesterdya, found out i cant lower my fronts anymore... so Mugen lip might be on the cards again.. cos my first rpeference, was to slam it entirely! but yeah, i dont wanna drop the rear n nnot the front, too woggish. Might try and find a rep lip, but iemailed bodyform n he hasnt gotten back to me, so yeh. might source one from clubrsx, so many for sale lol.

Looks good at that height. Any lower and you'll have trouble getting around Sydney But yes I agree, I'll get some coils first then figure out wheels as the stock wheels look pretty good already. There aren't THAT many mugen lips for sale are there? I've been trying to find one!

yeah man, on clubrsx ... the US have so many mugen lips for sale... wish it was that easy lol.

well at that current height, i havnt scraped anywhere excep for the wilson parking (under ground) at circular quay.. theres 2 levels.. i only go down to level B1, not B2, B2 i scraped twice lol.. never again.

Been a while since last update.

Buddy Club N+ (Thanks to "Type S" for the coils and borrowed pictures!)




Will take a few more pictures once I've re-adjusted the fronts as they are a a bit high for my liking. Overall, handling seems to have improved with more stability and less body roll through corners but more importantly to me right now, no more 4wd! I've got the dampers set at 12 clicks front and 10 click for the rear so the ride is a bit harsher than stock which is especially noticeable on dodgy roads (stupid Hume Highway) but other than that, highly recommended coils for a good drop and improved handling.

Replaced the brides (which are now for sale) as they made it a bit difficult to get passengers into the rear seats which I use often. Very comfortable seats and I think they look awesome! An added bonus is that were a straight fit onto the Bride rails I used for the low max gias!
