PS: I had no issue with oil/water temps and wasnt too bothered with tire pressure. I ran 36 front and 38 rear cold..did not check after running. But i noticed that i had used the tread on the border of the sidewall so I may have to reduce it a bit next time. My main goal of the day was to learn the track, lines etc. Laptimes will come with time.

      Nice update Prash!

Damn, funny about the boiling fluid. You use RBF600 right? I might hit up a CC day and get some actual instructions on the track. My two sessions there, I just get my licence back, so im driving having fun and that crap. Really need to look into some proper driving lines. Do you have an LSD in your car also Prashy or not? Hopefully u get that brake issue sorted out matey!

Also regarding your rear sway bar, ever thought of getting a front sway bar, or even stiffen up the damnpers up front? I drove with my buddyclubs and didnt adjust the damnpers at all ( really happy with the way mine was handling around wakefield as is, and I guess just happy speeding legally, so didnt really care) but im running a solid whiteline 24mm in the rear, set on stiffest.

very nice Prash. the track is definitely heaps of fun!

all the best with the brake line.. shame how that stuffed up.

maybe try lowering the air pressure in the rear tyres to make the rear a little less tail happy

Congratulations on your first track outing! Bad news on the brake line failure though it is good that the damage was not much much worse. I you are wearing the outer shoulders of your tyres then I would say you need more camber or more tyre pressure (though this is a bit of a bandaid and won't help much). I would hit the track a couple more times with minimal changes before you go making wholesale adjustments .

the fluid wasnt boiling and ye using rbf600..just a busted brakeline. no lsd ..constant wheelspin at the last corner. im running ep3 front sway and selbys 24mm solid rear on the stiffest setting..gonna try moving it up a notch to make it less stiffer. i set my front dampers on stiffest setting and the rear a bit looser.

ye im so lucky that the brakeline only failed after i came to a stop and not once i rammed into the back of the other cars :O...im running -2.25 front camber and -1.6 rear camber..wasted half of my front tires but just most prob due to my noob driving (constant lockups, wheelspins etc)..i think with time ill make it easier on my tires and brakes.

So prash now its time to stop putting it off and put in that LSD, believe me it will be the best thing you will have done so far, the car will be an aspalt eating beast

^^then do the whole lot, Exedy sports organic clutch and a second hand EP3 flywheel can be had for less then $500, add in a decent LSD (Wavetrac/Quaife/Mfactory) and you can have all the work done inc parts for ~$2600, best money i have spent so far

Nah imo, the cluctch is a consumable, so rather make the most out of the oem clutch first. Plus Prash never drives his car, so no point replacing a barely used clutch right?

But yeah steve, lets swap cars again, i never really got to drive ur car

agree with alex..i never drive my car so no point replacing all these things..just gonna enjoy as is ..cant justify spending 2.6k on it when im not gonna be keeping it for that much longer :P

other things i have to change: loosen the rear swaybar (everyone following my car noticed how tail happy my car was :P), get new front pads for honda nats (happy with mx72 so might get those again), rotate tyres and baffled sump (too risky without it)
