:S the haltech is actually cheaper for dc5s considering u need old ecu and sensors for the kpro.

Interested to see your experiences with the Haltech, since you are straying from the normal Kpro route. Who will be tuning the car?
will getting everything done by toda. yeah the haltech ecu is relatively new so a lot of ppl wont know abt it. Also its special ecu for the dc5 so it should work well.

so i just got my rbc IM but noticed that there is a chip on the karcepts adaptor (see pic). Will this be a problem after fiting the TB gasket and TB etc?

so im getting the itchy track bug..and was looking at some cures do u guys think its better to start learning at Marulan , either through the driver traing days organised by circuitclub or go there on an open day and learn? The problem with the circuitclub option is the limited numbers. I figure going to marulan would teach me more than going straigh to wakefield. It is also a bit cheaper. Has anyone been there? what do u think of it? (on the website it doesnt say nything abt helmets but i assume they have helmets for hire?)

so paid a visit to adrian@toda..and on top of everything i already have, he suggested i get the heavy duty timing chain tensioner to to not risk failure in the future and he will have to make a custom alloy intake pipe and port the manifold to fit the TB. A good thing is for me is that the selbys front sway will clear the headers so one less thing to buy Should have all the parts (headers/ecu etc) here soon and hope to get everyhting done in the last week of June so everyone can check it out at the meet thats being organised especially those ppl who are using me as a guinea pig for the haltech ecu . Im glad i got the mugen twinloop coz it will keep the noise levels down and hopefully avoid any cop attention after all this.

another thing.. apparently i would only lose around 5kw max compared to the more louders exhasuts (fujitsubo etc) but a whole lot more quiter so in a way ,im glad i paid the premium for the mugen.

ye but adrian said that after putting my cams, rbc and TB, those exhausts would get pretty loud. The twinloop design should also help with torque down low as I wont be losing too much exhaust back pressure as compared to free-er flowing exhausts. Im just trying to justify the extra i paid for it

                            me too

suck it up and buy a buddyclub spec 2

nah your setup should go well prash, i like the tone from my powergetter though, i hated the stock exhaust note. the sound it makes now makes it fun to drive, gets just enough attention or can be very quiet if you need to just slip by somewhere.

hehe..mite as well get a stainless steel tube and bolt it on the cat..cheaper and would have the same noise level.
