People still look at this thread? Sorry to mislead you all, I was just dreaming . I did take that photo and I did have that motor for a while but now it is already in another car terrorising the streets of Melbourne. Have no doubts though a similar motor is in my future! Not sure what car it will be in though Stevan .

Nothing happening. I will be back in Tasmania for the first time in 5 months next week so I will charge the battery on the DC5 and see if it still goes. Maybe change the oil and take it for a drive.

Nothing much happening on the EF either, I haven't driven it in a couple of weeks.

Truth. Why drive with moderate power and comfort when you can go low and slow.

I drove my car properly yesterday for the first time in 10 months. I had a wheel alignment done to set the toe back to zero after changing the lower control arm bushings and rear upper control arms some time ago, I eyeballed the negative camber at the rear and got it pretty close. I also cleaned the IACV and changed the oil. I then went for a little drive around the Sideling (a well known stage of Targa Tasmania) and took a couple of happy snaps. Apologies for the poor phone quality pictures.

Great to hear you back in the DC5 And wow 6.3 degrees of caster I can only manage 3.2 with the PCi bushes and noltec "caster plates" haha.

Really hope you take the DC5 further I live that car so much, pin up car for ClubITR !
