This thread needs a massive update.

When I first got the car I made the list above for items I want for the car. I assumed it would have 1-2 years for me to source all the parts, but I now have al the parts above. Just minus the respray, and well the new final drive. However Top One can source it for me anyways. Will update soon with a big post so I dont lose track of all the items I have been buying on a weekly basis lol!

Preparation for next track day on 03/08 will be:

- Since I went back to OEM suspension, I am going to install my whiteline front sway bar
- get alignment. max camber front and rear with 0.50degree more in the rear. 1mm each side toe-in on rears. max castor
- hasport engine mounts
- AP2 taillight upgrade
- OEM side strakes

Its quite hard to get my car to Top One since I store it at my in laws. so I get things done in batches to save me hassle of bringing car out of the garage and so fourth.

5ish weeks to go for the next day! Super excited! Quite relieving and a big WTF at the mod list and parts ordered so far. fucking went crazy in 7 months of ownership lol

I kinda like how SHIT my car looks atm. Mismatched bumpers, wheels that look completely fucked. I see people frown upon it lol, but all I see is the interior and it looks schmick lol!



TE37 that was ordered for my DC5 which I retired from track days and now sold. 17x9+28 and 17x9.5+28. If I still have these I will put on the S2000. BUY THEM, They're for sale!



With my respray I will also go AP2 badges front and rear. Prefer these as they add a modern touch to the S2K, contrary to the AP1 outdated badges IMO



I also picked up a Recaro SPG for track days. Wasnt fussed on colour!

Recently before my last track day I also had planned to strip my boot. Simply doing this purely for a cleaner setup.Plus it would have to be stripped for the AP2 tail light install. Parvez the previous owner decided to soundproof the shit out of this boot and bootlid. Ripped out all the interior and began removing all the sound proofing. Will eventually get rid of some of the sound deadening perhaps.



Also uncovered quite a bit of rust imo. Will get this all cut out and a new sheet welded in when I do the respray.

I dont even know wtf to update lol.

Ive done two things with this car from the last update;

Wakefield again.

For this day I went back to OEM suspension and got some 17x9/10 wheels in 225/255 wide RS3. I was thinking i'd smash my pb with the tyre upgrade. Was incredibily cold all day with a tiny window of decent track temp for a solid lap. best time of the day was 1:14.1 a full second slower than my pb before. Disappointed in myself but oh well. another day another attempt ey!

the day was just shit. no confidence at all. I also feel that my brakes werent pulling me up quite as well also. just a bad day.

I also have been spending a few months researching different setups and open or closed loop setups etc for oil catch cans.

I'll try and get a detailed post tonight or something
