      Part 3:

rotrex oil canaster, filter, cooler core + lines and fittings, rotrex traction fluid and intercooler (piping still being made up)

The part accumulation is about 90% complete with only the piping and BOV left to buy.
Heres a photo of all the parts i've racked up bar the 8 rib belt, charger pulley, walbro pump and injectors.

Starting to get really excited now!

I'm super excited man, after the charger is on there is a fair bit more to do before it's track ready but it should be interesting to see the lap times
The plan was to go back to wakefield NA one last time but i think i'm too keen to get the charger on lol

almost! I haven't decided wether to spray it or not...BYP have release 2 cars in the last 2 weeks with this same kit both with black piping and intercoolers, so i might just leave it and be different lol

So today I began installing some of my parts for the supercharger setup

The day started at work by de-gassing the aircon system

I got the car home, and began completely removing the a/c, that took about 20 minutes. Then on to removing the front bar to install the Rotrex oil cooler core....
I had to move my engine oil cooler to the left side and re-rout the lines, then made up brackets and mounted both coolers side by side...

With that mounted, i routed the Rotrex oil cooler lines from the core into the engine bay so all i will need to do is plug and play once the charger is fitted.
After that was done i moved on to mounting my "interfooler", as i wanted it mounted properly i chose to get some proper help using a welder to fit it so i took it over to Jimmy at BYP and he began fabbing up an upper beam support mount and 2 bottom brackets...

              All done and painted

Then i began to cut up the splash guard to make way for the intercooler piping so it makes it easier when i'm ready to install it.

So that's what happened today, hopefully my piping is ready next week so i can begin the next stage of the install. I ran out of light today so i didn't get a chance to snap a shot of the intercooler behind the bar, so i'll get one up tomorrow

                          supercharger prep update

Today i decided to install my Walbro 400 fuel pump, BYP had offered me a used one that was in their car for a couple hundred km's for a good price so i took that, bonus was that Jimmy had already wired it into the assembly so he gave me the whole thing and all i had to do was drop it in...

                          Old pump assembly

New with walbro 400, notice the size difference at the bottom of the pump

Out came the space saver and parcel tray

                          View from outside

I decided it was best to wire in a separate relay for the new pump, running straight from the battery source to ensure a clean voltage and avoid loss of flow on the track when the car is being pushed hard.

8 gauge wire straight from the battery, routed down through the passenger kick panel and to the back of the car

With that done i went out and bought a head unit because the original head unit and 10 disk stacker were starting to crap themselves

If all goes well i hope to have the car supercharged and possibly tuned by the Saturday coming, my piping has been delayed again to Wednesday as the piping fabricator's machine "broke down"...how convenient -.- lol. Fingers crossed

                            Nice update again.

Which pipes need to be fabricated?

                              Thanks Felix.

All the piping for the supercharger kit. From the charger to the intercooler inlet, and from the intercooler outlet to the throttle body, all 3" piping
