Haha i was actually pretty worried at the beginning, constantly thinking "what if i can't get the gearbox back on..." but i just took my time and made sure everything was done accurately and all was good in the end

Very nice, i'd never have enough balls to do that haha, well done.

haha it's definitely a big relief once it's done, knowing you've saved a couple hundred dollars is good too!

Got some time on saturday so i went to work and fitted my new ad08r's

Pretty tight fit especially the rears, i haven't touched the height or camber...

rear end looks nice and fat now

The grip just on the street is awesome although i haven't really had the chance to throw it into corners properly due to the rear tyres scrubbing a fair bit, ill get that fixed up soon.

ps the voltex diffuser isn't fitted due to loaning my rear sway bar out for wtac, will be back on once the bar is back on.

Looks awesome man. Is there anything in particular you use to clean the plastic window for the soft top? Yours looks really clear and clean.

Thanks man. I don't clean it with anything in particular, when i bought the car i just cleaned inside and out with a hot chamois but other then that i haven't touched it, the previous owner never had the roof down and i rarely do to, so it's not creased at all, and it's always garaged which helps keep it clean

                      Unexpected Update:

Had a little think about what i should strengthen before running some boost through the engine and i decided to upgrade the valve train to eliminate the chances of cracking a retainer etc etc under load on the track.
So i picked up Supertech dual valve springs, retainers, seats, collars and stem seals and fitted them when I was bored on friday night. Big thanks to BYP for lending me their valve spring compressor tool.

                      the games begin...

                      Supertech exhaust, OEM intake

Next morning, Intake complete, gave the head a little clean up

                      All timed up again

All done, very fiddly and time consuming job, to do the intake side the inlet manifold had to come off the head by about 3-4mm to make space for the valve tool to bolt down so most of the time was spent getting to the manifold bolts. Overall it took about 5 ish hours.

                                Thanks Phirrip

So part 2, the main and most expensive part of my supercharger kit has been purchased!

My brand new Rotrex c38-91, rather then the 92 that i mentioned earlier in my build after finding out the 92 actually doesn't fit in the area that I'm mounting the charger.

I will hopefully have my intercooler/piping/BOV kit next week sometime then it's just small things after that and ill be ready for boost
