    Allan's DC5S

Here's my story. I started off with a 06 Honda Civic FD which i bought at the age of 18 more overly because my grandma and girlfriend liked it. After driving it for a year or so, it wasn't really exciting me as i always wanted a dc5r or dc5s. I was roaming around for a while but I was lucky enough to get someone who was willing to swap their 06 Honda Integra DC5S as it is quite hard to get a buyer for the civic. I was really keen at the time and took to this opportunity with cash his way. It was one of the happiest day of my life although my girlfriend and grandma wasn't too pleased since it was a 2 door.. they're fine with it now though haha. Basically, the dc5 was bone stock with shitty wheels..

The car was in a rough condition but i haven't really been able to do much to it for about a another whole year since i've been way too busy after getting married to my girlfriend of 5 years and also having a baby daughter! Just had my daughters one month the other day and i suppose ill take the time to finally post a thread of my car.

Nice car Allan. You have some fat tyres on those rims.

Thanks man. I was contemplating on going a smaller profile but I'm more then happy with what it is now. Your ride looks awesome btw!

Had some issues today. Check engine light came on so I brought it to mechanics down the street to check it out. Unfortunately I couldn't stay since I had work in an hour so I left as he was doing a scan to find any errors.. Hope it's not bad!
A bit of a egg smell also coming from the exhaust?

I was thinking that as well. Just got my car back today and found out it was my coil pack. This is the third time within 3 months...
First time, I found out I had shitty quality coil packs so my mechanic ordered 4 new coils from repco and after one month of driving, one of the coils got a fault so we replaced it. We got another brand new coil from repco again so hopefully it lasts.

There weren't signs of any other problem at all and we're assuming that my car is acting up on the aftermarket coils. Would oem coils solve this issue? Gonna be pricey
