              Dpr dc2

I finally picked up the cusco gt wing! Not everyones cup of tea but ahh well! Picked up a koyo full aluminium rad with it which the guy threw in for free!!

Certified was pretty decent as well, few mates from our crew made it in as well as other mates. Event was HUGE! Way bigger than last year although i liked last years location better :/

                  hahah cheers man

well a week and a bit before winton, i realised the vibration in the left wheel was getting much worse, i sussed it out properly and the only conclusion i found was that the wheels bearing is worn. And i also blew a cam seal. Need to get those fixed asap and hopefully get it ready for track in june! The cracked front and rear bars are an extreme eye sore. i need to somehow get that fixed as well, or maybe even go for a facelift (or even.... jdm front :O,) but that probs wont happen anytime soon, need the car up and running to its former state

hahah didnt see you man? what car were you in? but cheers!

Not much happening recently, but i do need to paint the front bar soon so i decided that i would like to go facelift. after searching around i found a slightly damaged one for extremely cheap!

picked up the facelift front bar off a seller on gumtree, awesome guy! told his story about his dc2 from back in the early 2000's hahaha

Ive also FINALLY installed my Defi gauges, they work but i need the sandwich plate to arrive so i can hook it up properly zzz, was meant to compete at winton so i got everything prepped but blew a cam seal and a wheel bearing, and didnt want to take my chances, need to fix asap! so hopefully ill be set by july

Random bay photo from Tampered event, alot of things were going wrong that day, it was plain weird!

Well that's all the updates for now! im going to try save up for Recaro's and a Nardi steering wheel next, sooooo over the stock vti-r one feels like im turning a bus.

Some small updates, ive finally fixed my cam seal, but since i was running slammed, i hit a brick in the middle of the road (wtf) and smashed my sump in and broke my si-vtec lip off. Had to raise the car by an inch and installed a garden edging lip from bunnings, which will do for now till i finish off bogging my face lift bar

While being depressed about my car being so high i decided to catch up with a few mates, defekt automotive repping LOL

So garage cafe also reopened, and a friend of mine from Tyrepower organised a fn2r meet there, decided to go and catch up with all the guys. mad feed, mad location, dope company

Well guys its been quite a while since I've updated my build! few things have been changed recently, such as the front canards are gone, and i wa sforced to sell the cusco gt wing due to excessive cop attention i was receiving. im planing to go back to a clean build after i source out a jdm front in the coming months, but since my front bar is already munted i thought id give a few things a crack, (no pun intended). First off was creating a splitter, ive been wanting to make one for a long time now and since Honda Network 2014 can just around the corner i thought what the hell and went for it, production of it only took me a couple of hours, exxxxxxtrmely simple to make (if you have the right tools) and cost was roughly 90-100.

getting the splitter positioning right was a bit of a challenge but with the help of a few mates we got it all aligned properly went onto reinforcing the splitter later on

Just in case anyone was wondering how i mounted it, it was done where the 2 tow hooks are next to the rad support. the L bracket is a bit flimsy so ill be upgrading that next, this is just a test splitter. so ill be creating proper one thats not just intended for 'show'

Both the top and bottom of the mounting areas were reinforced just to prevent cracking if i hit a pothole or speedbump

                                andddd the finished product

Ive also recently purchased a genuine sr3 Recaro driver side seat with rails for an absolute bargain! it has a few blemishes but nothing that's too hard to clean

while i was scrolling around a few buy sell pages i came across a full dc2r 'carbon' interior package for 50 bucks! only thing missing is the shifter surround, but items were in mint condition!

                                Thats it so far homies!
