See I just always saw it as if you camber then you go through tyres quickly tbh.
Didnt like the idea of that, but you definitely did open a new viewpoint hau, never knew it actually increased handling?!

I personally wouldnt really mess with cambers or spacing but rather basic suspension -- coilovers or just simply lowered springs. At the moment, keen as a bean for internals (:

Camber isnt the cause of your tyre wearing out quickly. It is your toe setting that actually makes you chew through your tyres. All camber does is give you an uneven wear on the tyres as in that your tyres will wear out on the inside half of the tyre if you run quite a bit of negative camber

As someone once said, (in all their deepness and philosophy) -- You've already lost because you want to beat them.

You're just simply cut because I will own you one day and you're scared to have a girl beat you, I just want a quick car, okay greekus?

Supercharged K20 with no real supporting suspension or brake upgrades... You're just asking for trouble.

If you plan on running a S/C while still running the stock rims, and 55 series tyres, you'll have HEAPS of trouble getting power down, no matter how sticky the rubber is. You should seriously look into doing suspension (Decent coilovers, sway bars) and rims and tyres (17x8 +30 with 225/45 as a min) before you think about doing so much engine work. Even with basic ECU/Intake/Exhaust combo, you’ll be running the limits of the stock rim, tyre & suspension.

With my old K24 set up, 1st was useless. I was running 9' wide rims with 225/45 Z1 Starspec tyres, near solid mounts and Ohlins coilovers and Mugen front strut and Whiteline front swaybar. Even with hard launches in 3rd on the roll it would lose traction. Obviously an S/C is going to have more torque, so you’ll have more problems.

Honestly, reading this thread, you still have a lot to learn about cars, and what each aspect does. I would highly recommend that you do some more research before you jump head first into just doing engine mods. Like my reply to another one of your threads, an S/C puts a lot of strain on the gearbox, and the K20 gearbox isn't exactly the toughest thing out there.

yeah - i dont see where tiana has said she's gonna S/C her car - but yeah, id be guessing she knows she has lots to learn about having a safe and drivable car well before she starts spending cash on engine mods...

performance mods should be done in the order of: tyres, alignment, brakes, suspension, thennn engine mods...

with driver training pretty much sitting before tyres mods!

Haha settle fellas, This is partly my fault as Im trying to convince her to go this way in the long run, Not next week fellas lol.

Yes all of the above is correct and the car won't get to that point until all the supporting mods are complete first.

                          Obviously... lol

                              Hey guys!

                              Been pretty busy with study in the past few days, but here's some of the things I managed to do in this time;
                              - Changed XForce headers with PLM ones (with test pipe -- see photos)
                              - Resprayed front lip as it was badly tarnished
                              - New plates and mounted them differently

As for the PLM headers, we had removed the cat as it was welded to the other headers and we had agreed to put on a new one to complete the job properly. This will be done in correspondance with when I decide on which catback to buy (preferably 2.5" as mine is extremely loud atm with the 3")

Oh and again, a big thanks to Jorge and JDM yard for all the help, you guys are literally the best.

Yes, I DIYed my front lip -- I wasn't expecting it to turn out as good as it did! You'll never get it perfect when you do a home job but overall I was quite happy in contrast to what it had been before.

                              Here's some photos

                              The products I used

                              Feathering and sanding complete

                              Primered

                              Spray puttied

                              Colour and clear

The box had it's own seat -- talk about royalty.

                              The first glance at them.

                              Tis complete.
