DW about it man. Everyone makes that mistake at some point. Tell the bloke you're entitled a refund since he advertised it as genuine.

Just change the filter to a K&N filter or similar so you know its actually filtering air, the replica scoop and chamber would probably function the same as the genuine intake though.

The filter is already a k&n

Mmm okay. Yeah we've managed to fit it very nicely, all the connections and brackets are very solid. Filter is k&n, freshly oiled. Should be okay for now!

I will however change it later on I think, I'm after a genuine build, because I support the companies, not because of my e-penis

okayy, finally about that update. ideas anyone?

finally got around the paying off the balance of my mod, picked it up late monday night. Thought i couldn't fit it in my boot (THAT'S A CLUE!), so i asked trusty wongy to give me a hand. thanks bro! Got back to his place and got crackin with the install. Jacked up the car, and started pullin shit off. if you haven't guessed already, i bought an exhaust!!!

about an hour later, we panicked and thought we couldn't get it off, so we called Danny the Supervisor to come over and help us out, but as he arrived, we finally got this fucker off...derp.

with the balance of the ONE PIECE exhaust in my hands, you can see the centre of mass is right near the back of the system. All that weight GONEEE!!

while i was taking the exhaust off, nathan sought about giving the mufflers a good polish, pictures later will show excellence. thanks again man! after that we started mounting the new exhaust on, it's a 3 piece system, so it was sooo much easier putting it back on. It also probably weighed only half as much too.

look at the shineee!! nathan duuudeee!!

we ended up finished in about 2.5hrs...yes slow, but oh well, first time!

some clearer shots from the following morning.

if you guys haven't noticed, it's the GReddy Dual SE, the same one Phil just recently bought. No i didnt copy him or anything, he was about to buy this one, but i already had dibs on it haha, so i showed him another one that was for sale, and he got that one! Great minds think alike!! I had my heart on this one for a very long time...

                                Impressions
It was in the middle of the night when we gave it a first start. In my opinion it was LOUDDD.
Ive always had a quiet car, my FN2 was quiet, the stock s2k is considered quiet, and then changing to a 70-60mm exhaust made it seem explosive! I surely wasn't used to it. I'm a pussy, most of you guys will probably think it's not that loud at all. Don't worry I'll man up soon hahaha! Two days of driving this thing, the sound has improved as the ECU slowly learnt of the new mod. Throttle response has improved heaps! and mid torque is improved too.

Very good exhaust!! lovely burnt tips stand out behind the yellow shell, YAYY!! I'll get a Berk 70mm high flow cat later down the track, as well as get Phil's help to apply some sound deadening to the rear end.

                                Thanks for reading!!
