    Life of my Type S

    Hey everyone,
It has been about 10 months since ive had my type S and just been so busy havent had a chance to post up some photos of its transformation. I bought this 04' DC5 Type S off a pregnant lady around about Aug/Sep last year and she had about 78k kms. Completely stock and ready to go. I wanted to start with the appearance, so I de-badged it for a cleaner look, lowered it on some coils, got some wheels, and some body mods too. I've just started on some performance modifications, and this is where it gets fun
Anyway Ill post up some pics for now and see how it has all gone

The Current status of my car is:
    90,000km

Tein SS Coilovers professionally installed by pedders
    Lenso D1R project D's 18x8 +35 Falken 235/40/18
    Replica Mugen Lip
    Type R Wing
Exedy Heavy Duty Sports Organic Clutch
    Fujitsubo RM01a cat back
Alpine Head unit, JL splits and JL 12" Sub + 4 chanell Amp
    Xenon 10000k HIDs

    The future:
Obviously theres plenty more I could do to this car. I really want to get some more aggressive wheels. Really want some nice dish and smaller rims to lower it. Thinking of some 17x9s in ssr professors or work meisters. Also looking at getting either a gruppeM or injen really soon and some headers to complete the exhaust set up. This is the very near future, then after this, sky is the limit.
Anyways Id love to see what you guys think so far.

I have had mine for 18ish months and drove in thick heavy rain with no issue (scared like crazy) just make sure you dont get your car swimming in a pond

lol I'm running an Injen intake, and never had any problems with it during rain, heavy or light, i put a hydroshield on it just to be safe, and it's fine because it's covered by the foglight.

I guess too deep would be when your entire front bar is under water. Don't think you'd ever get to that point unless you had no choice but to drive through a flood.

Im not sure about gold to be honest. Really love the black on black look, Would be interested to try them out for size though haha , if only ....

In regards to the injen, if submerging your front bar is the limit then that fine, i dont plan on doing that any time soon, its just the smaller puddles that will worry me...

                          Looks clean!

Just wondering, did you get a genuine type R spoiler or was it a replica? Also, how did you manage to cover the holes after taking the ducklip out to install the spoiler?
