Did you buy the cage new? Time to start entering some serious events now that you have one of those. But then again I'm not sure if Cusco cages are approved, may need someone to confirm this.

The wing looks pretty cool at the track, I think you need a splitter now to balance it out. (Aesthetics wise though unless you don't plan on running it on the street. Then again a splitter would be nice in general)
Caught up? Hardly! Still over 5 seconds off your time haha.

Cage isn't CAMs approved due to it being too thin (I think).

I'd like to see a splitter on the car, as Matt said ... it would definately balance out the downforce!

Keep it up, I like your style
Splitter is definitely on the agenda. I bought another Mugen replica lip just before Christmas purely for me to hack up and use for the track. Didn't get the chance to look into making up a splitter but I attempted to make some brake cooling ducts - however that got put to an end when I found the front lip didn't want to fit onto my bumper. Seemed a little too short even after I heated it up. Good thing too as I lost half of my front passenger fender lining at the track. If I had my brake cooling ducts in there would have lost about $20 worth of premium piping.

Is there any EP3's doing sub 1:40's yet?
Not yet as far as I'm aware. Closest is eskimo_firefighter who is around the low 1.43s on street tyres.

Have you tried 225 tyres? I'm running 215 which is too stretch for the track and i have no scrubbing issues with less camber.
I run that size on the rear on my x8.5 +30. You run x9 +35 all round yeah? 225/45 should be ok with -2.5 to -3 degrees of camber depending on the tyre and how the sidewall sits on the wheel. I ran -3.5 camber on the rears last track day which was less than ideal but the Hankook RS3 sidewalls are really chunky and I was scrubbing heaps with -2.5 camber.

Nah not all round lol. For the fronts Im running x9 +35 with 215/45 and -2.5 camber. The problem wasn't the inner guards but the outer guards for me. Than we rolled the guards and it solved the issue. I'm running x9 +22 with -3.5 camber at the back and i still scrub on the back right corner.

Did you undo the front part of the cusco roll cage for daily use? Or that is not possible?

Congratulations Tim, good stuff on the car, has definately come a very long way!
Your correct about your cage being to thin.. Apparently they buckle and tear if you were in the event of an accident but touch wood that it never occurs.
                  Keep it up dude.

Awesome work on the car Tim, you must be really happy with how it's progressing. Great work on the new PB too, sounds like you surprised yourself!

Thanks Ryan. Yeah I think I really was surprised at the times I was pulling that day. Originally thought I was going to struggle to get into the 45s but throughout the day I was able to pull pretty consistent 45s. I want to try to hit 42s before I go onto semis.

Anyways, here's a teaser photo of what's coming next:

Thanks Dan, where have you been mate? You've been MIA so long I thought you sold the car haha.

It's been a good year since you bought the lip off me. I'll buy the lip back off you at the right price if you didn't want it.
