Thanks, yeah the red door cards suit the recaros so well, I'll upload another photo when we get the passenger side in, love your dc2 as well, so clean man, and your em1 before! Always had a soft spot for those.

Thanks for the replies guys. Got the problem with the Recaros sorted so now got both in

Also diy sprayed our previously red type r lip, turned out quite well I think haha

Also major update to the suspension of the car, we weren't planning to do the coilovers for a long long time.. But this popped up and was just too hard to resist!

              Buddy club n+ coilovers

Got it bundled with a whiteline 24mm sway bar for a good price

Work got started on the coilovers so it was out with the old and in with then new.

Old suspension with skunk 2 lcas that we had to replace with stock dc2r ones to fit the coilovers

              Coilovers in

ASR Subframe Brace ready for sway bar

We left the height settings from the previous owner and is was quite low

Went for a test drive and it actually wasn't as bad as we thought, didn't scrub too much but decided to raise it a cm to be sure. Our tyres aren't allowing us to go any lower so they will need replacing too.

Didn't get a chance to get a feel for the new coilovers and sway bar because of Melbournes stupid weather but from initial impressions it feels a million times better just going at normal speeds.

Haven't got a better pic of the whole car since coilovers got installed but will do tomorrow!

Thanks Felix, yeah I've always been wondering aren't they black when stock? So not sure why previous own would spray it white, but yeah, planning to do that soon as well

Not much has happened to the car recently guys.. Just fiddling with the suspension to get it to where we want it and happy with.

Since the last update we got type r rear seats to finish off the interior

Also got some seat covers for the Recaros

                        Now for the bad news..
A couple of weeks ago someone reversed into the back of our car, it was clearly his fault with witnesses to prove it, but he kept denying it and blaming us. The damage wasn't enough for us to go through the trouble with insurance.. There's just a dint and some scuffs from next to the number plate..

And worse news, my brothers daily a 1992 Mazda 323, manual, a car that's been in the family for over 10 years, (probably the most reliable car we've ever owned), got stolen from the train station.
And this is what the crooks did to it

Car was no longer drive able so it had to be scrapped, we got nothing for it
It was such a good car, just get in and go no problems.. And now my brother is even more worried when he has to use the dc2 as a daily, parking at stations and stuff.

From the high of me getting my car, this happened to my bros

Do you think this is fixable guys?

Sure it is. New panel/panel beating and a bit of paint + some cut & polish and you should be sweet.
