Yea, hating this weather...even if I did wash car, the precipitation at night when my car is parked at the station all that water builds up on car same effect, wet and leaves marks...

Long time no update, had to save for the parts that this update contains xD, First up are Zeal Function X coilovers that i got thanks to Etherealfall for putting them on hold for me, really appreciate it, shipping was so fast it arrived at my doorstep on the monday when they got sent on the friday, and thanks to shak i bought his spare set of Ingalls front camber bolts

Was so happy to get these installed along with the new wheels that was coming prior to that i had bought that have yet to be installed are spoon rigid collars, spoon magnetic bolt, JDM cluster. No photos yet as they will be in a later update. So when i had my new wheels coming in i had to get rid of my current RPF1's, so i immediately put them up for sale for a steal, managed to get a price i was decently happy with, would've wanted more but not really gonna complain, thanks to Hau for letting me borrow his DC5 type R stockies that he bought previously had them on for a week, then planned for few of the boys to come over and assist me in installing the new coilovers

New wheels? what are these new wheels that i speak of? very few people knew what wheels i was running next, you know who you are jumped on these as soon as they were put up for sale, could not pass on it, the funny thing is prior to them being up for sale i was looking at them online at work on my lunch break and i fell in love with them.....the new wheels are......Rays Volk Racing RE30's 17x9+22 and 17x9.5+22 in formula silver, many thanks to Alex (aka plAythiNG) :P

When i picked up the wheels from Alex's place.

The day after i picked up the wheels Alex asked for photos so i test fitted the rims on my car and it looked good and was looking forward to getting them fitted asap :P

Not long after i picked up the wheels i had to get my guards rolled, Hau recommended a guard roller that was in the area and so the following day i texted him and he called me back the same day saying that he was only available on that day due to the fact that he was going to hunter valley for the rest of the week and needed to get the coilovers installed that weekend so he agreed to come by my place in the afternoon at 4. Driver side had no issue at all but on the passenger side there was a slight concern that because that rear side had been in an accident before and the repair job was dodgy under the guard, the metal was split from the guard and this raised concern about not being able to roll all the way or else the panel would warp, i was really scared that he could not roll it, he told me that if he couldn't roll it i would have to go to panel beater and get an angle grinder to cut it off and apply some anti rust solution (forgive me for i don't know what its called xD) or some sort of sealant so water wont get inside it and rust away. First he did the driver side, no problem, too easy, then it came to the passenger side, i kept my fingers crossed, he managed to roll it to the extent that i hoped that it would not scrub, he said if there were any issues to call him, but it was rolled to the point that it should not scrub, but only time will tell when i mount the tyres on the new wheels and everything was installed so it was kind of a risk =\

On the same week i got the tyres mounted on the RE30's, my tyre choice, 225/45/17 all round, was going to get 235/45/17 but ended up going for 225/45 for some reason, do not know why, dat little bit of stretch on the 17x9.5 maybe? xD Since bridgestone was doing a deal for the month where if you bought 3 tyres you get the 4th one free, i wanted the tyres asap, so asked rents for abit as i was around 200 off ><" thankfully they said yes and paid them back the following week :P
                            BAM...Tyres mounted on rims

The coils had to be fitted in order for the wheels to fit and camber adjusted along with height to sit flush without any scrub. So Shak, Fahad, Danny, Hau and John came over and helped me install the coilovers on my car, first we started with the rears as we thought it would take the longest because few weeks before we fitted shaks BC RSD's and the rear nuts were a bitch to get to, but as soon as we pulled back the carpet and the side of the interior, found out that the nuts were really easy to get to due to the fact that the previous owners of this car had cut the plastic on both sides of the car for some sort of bar, dunno what its called xD but because those holes were there, the nuts were so easy to get to, so the rears took no time at all, then it was to the front, getting the tie rod ends out was a bitch because Hau forgot the tie rod removal tool, so he went back home with John to get it and whilst we were waiting we tried taking off the driver side without the tool, but failed >< and so we waited for Hau and John to return with the tool required to take off the tie rod ends with no problem. They came back 30 minutes later and we quickly got back to work in finishing the front. the passenger side had no issues but the driver side had problems putting the nut that goes on the tie rod end back in, we tried for at least an hour and we could not get it tight all the way, everytime we tried to tighten it, it would just move with the tie rod end, so we just put the locking pin in and we called it a night as we already worked for 5 hours from 6pm to 11pm. Forgot to take photo of the front =[

Fahad washing his car at night with a light like a sad child

The next day i called up almost every tyre shop in the area asking if they did camber adjustment, but they were either closed or they didnt want to do camber adjustment because it would take too long, so went one day without the car. Then the following day i went down to bridgestone and they drove it into the alignment bay and they told me they could not do any adjustments or alignments because that nut that was on the tie rod end was moving everytime they tried to tighten it even with a rattlegun, and there was a brake line that was in the way and was slightly scrubbing the brake disc, but the guy at bridgestone cable tied it out of the way for now until further notice, so i had to go back home and try to tighten that nut all the way up so that i could get a wheel alignment and camber adjusted on the same day, another friend of mine Ryan(lolwtfhai) came over and helped me as i did not want to delay it any further, went down to the local mechanic and asked him how i would go upon tightening it, he let me borrow a special clamp that held onto the tie rod end so that when i tightened it the bolt would not spin with the tie rod end, and it worked! i then called up bridgestone and booked for 3:30 to go for camber adjustment and wheel alignment, had a quick lunch with dad and ryan at KFC then went down to bridgestone for adjustments to be made, luckily it pulled through with no issues at all and now im sitting on -2 camber all round and 0 toe. This is how the car Currently sits, crappy pictures but will take better pictures soon, i promise

After camber adjustment and wheel alignment, filling up

and thats it for now, haven't updated in awile and this is the best thing thats happened to my car so far! Very happy with how the car sits at the moment

                            that looks absolutely toughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
