Shak's next project, my 2nd DC5R.

During the month of April a couple things happened:

I bought some touch-up paint to fix some rust cause by my rusty battery stay.

I also purchased some seat covers for the recaro's, a hardrear rear camber kit, and set of hardrace engine mounts (62A)







One afternoon Alex (plAythiNG) had come over to help me install the rear camber kit, unfortunately no pictures were taken due to our hands getting very, very black

27 April 2012

I had the car booked in at Top One. The engine mounts were installed and also some parts from the old DC5R. I swapped the current toda headers w/ 200cel cat for the brand new toda headers w/ toda hi-flow cat, which I purchased a couple months before. Also the Fujitsubo Powergetter exhaust was swapped with the good ol' Amuse R1 Titan that I had lying around from the old DC5R.

ClubITR member ob3d was there as well, getting his mounts and rear camber kit installed if I remember correctly. After the work on my car was done, when Dede started the car up there was a very big grin on both our faces when we heard the amuse rumble hehe .

Well I wish I had started this thread when I bought the car and updated it as things happened, as I can't remember anything now...

Hmm.. So the Fujitsubo Powergetter exhaust was put up for sale and fellow member Ryan (OzStriker) had made his mind up on taking it off my hands. I was really worried about it getting damaged in transit so I went about making some custom packaging hehe

Also the toda headers that were on the car originally were sold to fellow member Hau. Headers were given to him at the HCCNSW meet at SHIFT performance!

So as you guys may have noticed in the previous pic the numberplate has moved to the side.. I think the photoshoot of my DC5R and John's old EP3 (K20A) was the last time the car looked stockish. It was around this time (April/May) when the modding bug had bit me also..
