      Just going to throw this idea out there:

      Anyone thought of rebadging a DC2 as an Acura GS-R? Anybody done it?

      I think it would be interesting... kind of doing the opposite of a JDM facelift... a USDM facelift...

            So I could hear that my engine mounts weren't up to scratch, which is why I bought the Hardrace mounts.

            Little did I know HOW BAD the mounts were...



            that is the passenger side bottom mount, so bad that with no more than a tug the centre tore right out... :P

            Glad I am swapping them out now

                Had trouble getting the bolt off the centre of the torn mount, so I gave up for today, 3 done, 2 to finish. Can't wait

                Also, getting a small rasping noise about when VTEC kicks in and out in the rev range... Maybe the solenoid is going?

                  Mounts are in and oh my...

                  The NOISE... It's GLORIOUS!

                  So responsive, so easy to come on and off the throttle at high revs...

                  Highly recommend to anyone who hasn't yet, especially if they are worn out anyway.

                      Nice i like the red, it really stands out ! Nicee im up for some new mounts soon so its nice to get some feed back about the hardrace ones, Is there a big difference between the hard race and hasport ?

                        Hardrace mounts seems like OEM replacement, not sure if rubbers are replaceable when they break - replacing all of the 5 mounts

                        Hasport mounts rubbers could be changed anytime - replacing the 3 main mounts

                        Both are very good products

                            Hardrace bolt straight in like OEM, but are built very different. Much harder rubber, much thicker sections of rubber, and in most cases, actually more arms of rubber joining the inner ring to the outer casing. (one went from 2 OEM to 3 HR, one went from 4 tiny strands of rubber OEM to 3 strong arms HR).

                            As far as replacement, hardrace mounts are single pieces each, so yeah, whole mount needs replacing when gone (but not many people keep are car long enough to wear a brand new set of mounts right out!!).

                              Sorry for the low def picture :P

                              DIY Lip on and I am loving it Once I drop the car 2 inches it will sit perfect at the front.

                              There you go Felix, I have a lip now May keep it or replace it with a ITR lip one day.

                              Also, shiny new gold Mugen Oil Cap under the hood, for the extra 5kW!

                                My first car was an ek4 then i went to a Honda bross 400, the went to a My05 wrx, now i have a Vtir DC2.
