Okay so I have moved to SA almost a year ago and have seen only 3 Type R tegs.

This sadens me but I have not given up on the girl! (Sorry for inactivity)

Now I have been researching like crazy on the next mods...

      My goal is to get

      Toda uprated springs
Toda Cams (Maybe spec c or f still researching)
VTC control cam sproket (on the maybe list if required)
      Toda chains
      Toda light weight pulley kit.

So let the savings (or spendings) begin

Will keep you guys up to date as I want to get back into the forum again

If anyone has some good info on the cams I would appreciate it as I can't see much difference, only that Spec F will have a harsher idle

It was heart breaking placing SA plates on my car.

is about time I did some updates that have happened.

One of the days I heard this rattle occur in the integra and is sounded like it was coming from the center console. After a week it annoyed me so much i decided to do this:

                20121230_153455.jpg

After much guessing I pulled apart the shifter link arms and there was no lube.

So I thought of an ingenious idea, 'Lets lube it up'

                Before:

                20121208_105104.jpg

                20121208_104811.jpg

                After:

                20121220_165001.jpg

I also taped it as it was on a slant and placed a washer to ensure no movement of the shift arm side to side would rattle

                ANDDDDDD it didn't fix it...

So I replaced the whole plastic unit with this:

                20121220_171414.jpg

                ANDDDD that didn't fix it...

although it does make the shifting more controlled and stiffens any slack that the Shifting unit had.

                So that was a plus.

                2 crazy noise weeks later.

I was driving out of the Garage and I forgot to get something from in the house.

As I was walking to go back in side I noticed a washer and nut was on the floor where my car is parked. I had a look and I noticed it was the washer and nut for the extra mount I placed under the car for the exhaust system.

I tried to get it on that afternoon but I couldn't as the extra mount had rattled down the thread I went to a mates and jacked the car up and replaced the nut with a lock nut and then placed that and the washer back on the car.

Started her up and no rattle

You need to fix your pics fellow, you can't link them from your HD you need to upload them to imageshack or photobucket or similar, and then insert the image URLs between the IMG tags.

A few months ago misses didn't know what to get for my birthday so she stalked my wish list on my phone

Thank god she did as I got these

I opened the Mugen fuel cap first and was like :S I can't recall this on my wishlist (was on my ebay one from many moons ago)

but hey still put it on.

I then proceeded and opened the Toda uprated springs and I got all excited!! now to get the other mods to make it worth the install (so I need 3 more birthdays then??)

Around that time as well we decided to get an everyday driver and she wanted a BMW 3 series post 2006. Looked at the price and performance and was like "wtf so BS not paying that amount!!"

                      So we got this instead:

                      20130104_184407.jpg

Little she knows that if she writes it off and as long as the engine is intact I have a perfect K20/K24 swap :P

but I don't wish that to happen.

Will try to keep you all up to date more often now.

So did a little cleaning of the girl, tried to clean her headlights up but it didn't work...

So will need to go and get some good gear for it... If anyone knows any let me know

The next DIY's are the following:

Fix all the paint chips on the front of the car:

                            20130629_114941.jpg

Then I need to do something with the engine bay, I was thinking spraying the head unit Toda yellow, red, or a vermillion fire colour. What do you guys reckon?

                            20130629_114843.jpg

Good progress so far bud. What did you replace the front license plate holder with? Looks like an aluminium bar of sorts
Lisa is a nut. She has a rubber butt. Everytime she turns around it goes putt putt.

Sounds really bad but I drilled holes into the kit to have the number plate there, then I bent the plate around to sit on it nice and tight.
