Cheers bro. Ill show you a pic of when I finally get them on, going to be awhile though. How much did your Potenzas cost a corner fitted, balanced and wheel aligned?

i think that vent/flap thing is to let air out of the cabin when shut your doors, all cars have them somewhere,
i can't see you having to many door shuting problems if you stick it closed though

Do not remove those flaps. If starts to rattle just reseal it. Removing it may cause water leaking into cabin or so. Nice wheels

Thats what I was thinking. Maybe I should just put something in place to absorb the shock.

              Hey guys,

Can anyone recommend me a tyre? I've had someone recommend Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec. Checked out tirerack.com and there are good reviews about it.
I'm also checking out Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position. Bit extra, and seem to perform just aswell with double better wear rating. General G-MAX AS-03 and Continental ExtremeContact DWS are also on the list aswell. Seem to be two bang for buck tyres. Never heard of general though so I leaning towards continental out of the two.

Are tirerack.com reviews trustworthy? Anyone bought tyres from these guys before? How much was shipping?

remember to let the silicone settle for at least 24hrs before testing it

                            Update.

Some snap shots of the work I did last Sunday.

Stripped the car completely from the front seats back

You can see from the pics that I taped up the wiring and bits and pieces too.
My Gf was helping me. She's tip top.

Had slight rust in the car from the naughty tail light.

How the FU(k did it get there?

After I sand papered the rusty spots. Wax and degreased the area to be painted. I started spraying.
Here's the best image of the work as it was really sunny.

Thought I fu!ked it up. But I honestly do not mind how it turned out. Its not professional I know, but it works and serves it desired purpose.
Protection from rust and I'm over silver.

Fixed the tailight too but it still leaks under heavy rain. I think it'll be ok under light drizzle

Used up the whole tube of black silicone.

So yea thats pretty much how I spent my weekend.

                              Looks great...
                              Picked a colour for interior?
Did you use rattle cans or proper spray gun?

                                Yea Machinery grey.
I used rattle cans because this is the interior. Wouldnt dare try this on the exterior.
