    FF 4 Cylinder Trash

    Hey everyone,

Been a member for awhile. Thought I'd make an official hello with this thread.
This is how I spent my last weekend.

I stripped the car to lighten it up for an extra 100kw!

The boot is also leaking. From the rear left tail light was planning to get new tailight gaskets. Did my research though and some people have used adhesive to bond it all up, as it is a one time fix compared to repairing gaskets everytime they stuff up.

Plus I want to get everything out of the way so I can spray the interior grey.

Pretty easy stripping everything. Didnt take me long. All you need its a socket

Took out the rear seats aswell. Easy and straight forward. Then went inside for dinner.
Decided to call it quits after that. It got dark and I'm scared of ghosts.

See how we go this weekend

    Next

    Fix tailight. Realign rear bumper.
    Spray interior grey
    Install new splash guard
    Install new O2 sensor
    TE37's
New headlights with HID/ Fix front bumper

    Then a performance upgrade.

    Dam leaks.

Will you be spraying the interior the same colour as the exterior?

Im going to try and match it as close as I can with spray cans lol. Going to Vacuum, apply wax + grease remover mixed with elbow grease then paint. The silver contrasting against the grey is starting to get to me.

So Im going to need wax + grease remover, rags, cans, tape and a whole lot of stolen local newspapers =]

              Thanks alot mate!.
To get the side plastic off, all you need is to pop out a few clips. In the pics I uploaded the clip locations are circles in red. 4 on the rear plastic then another 2 on the side. After that just manuvre it out. Done!

HI guys new update. Bought me new used rims the other day.

                        ROTA! AWW yea!

Why am I talking like a bogan ...

TE37s. 17x8.5+30. Weighing in at 7.7KG! Going to be wrapped in 225 or 235 /45/17 not too sure on what tire yet.

Recommend me one? Im after something in the ultra high performance tier, just below a semi slick.

Thought it'd be funny to put my gf's dog underneath the rim.
If animal protective services asks, she climbed in herself.

Now, who knows what this is?

See in the image there is that black thing?
I think its a vent. Anyone know the science behind it? Its starting to rattle like a mofo. Thinking about removing the flap or closing it up. Any ideas?

Forgot to mention when I stripped out the rear I did some weighing on a bathroom scale LOL.
Everything in the boot taken out equalled about 20KG
Rear seats and buckles etc weighed about 20KG
                        So 40KG all up.

                          Dope wheels man!

I've also stripped out my back seats and boot stuff. So much noisier inside the CAB. Made me aware of all the small rattly noises in my car!
