Ohh i did more today too. I installed the Hardrace shifter bushings, f%ck they were a bitch to put on. I was going to do the steering rack ones too but gave up and got a hair cut. The OEM bushes are mega soft compared to the Hardrace, I was a bit skeptical how much they would do.

The shift is quite a bit more firm but it feel like it slots in much better, now to fix my synchros and the box wil be sweet.

Yeah shifter bushings are a nice little mod.

Do you still have the moustache?

Soo forgetfull lately I also picked up a set of these last week as the Advans I have on my track rims had dried up and gone hard.

They are Federal FZ-201 in 205/50r15. There is a lot of talk that these are amazing tyres.

I believe i got the last set of 205/50R16 in the country. I got them through a mate who know the distributor. I know Option1Garage sell them.

I got bored today and stripped the interior as far as the QLD Time Attack series rules allow me. The rules allow me to remove the door cards too but unless i get alloy or carbon replacements they are staying. I need to get or make something like the Carbing heel plate thing cos of the unflat floor.

                        Plastic all gone.

Definitely looking the part for track. How was the carpet? I've always wanted to strip mine fully, carpet and all but I would imagine putting it all back in to be a pain.

Not to bad, that hardest part trying to squeeze it under one of the center console brackets, had to remove 2 other brackets that hold up the center console. I also cut a tiny strip that went under the hand brake as i would have had to remove the whole hand mech brake to get it out.

Just a little update, After 2 different mechanics breaking my car, it's finally fixed and back driving again.

I bought new Federal FZ-201 semis in 205/50R15 to try out as people that had used them were raving about them and they were cheap. I had them fitted up on my TE37's and this is how it looks. There is a track day mid november i can make to test them out.

The gearbox is the next thing, i'm about to order the full carbon rebuild kit from synchrotech(if i don't buy a new camera tomorrow ), then the box will come out and all other goodies go in as well.
