Successful afternoon installing the new clutch master and slave cylinder and a Goodridge braided clutch cable.
Swapping everything out was very simple and didn't take long. Longest part was bleeding the system. The new pedal feel is amazing compared to the old cylinders. The grab point is just above the floor now and the stroke of the pedal is about half of what it use to be. The clutch grab actually feels a little bit better to. Now i cant wait to have the new clutch installed.
This is what the old oil looked like when i drained it. I only changed it 3 months ago...
New vs Old.
One black cable replaces all the other pipes.
In bad news i found the center bolt of the gearbox mount sheared right off. I don't know how long its been like this but i have never touched them. The other two nuts were tight as buggery. So it's off to the wreckers tomorrow to get another bolt.
Here is what is left of the bolt.
Also some Hardrace shifter and steering bushes turned up today too. I can't change them at my current place as the carport isn't suitable to jack the car up, so i will have to wait till i go to my parents soon.
Could you possibly take some shots of your lsd at all? I have a clutch b series diff here and we can't work out wtf it is :S, trying to narrow it down!
Picked this up last night. Now the ITR can be put on stands and the gear box pulled out to get lots of work done to it. Also this morning i installed the new thermostat and fanswitch and did a radiator flush.
