Integra Type S - My Story

Through the week thats just commming to an end I had my car at Top One where I had a service, machining of front and rear rotors, replacement of rear pads. Lasted me 4 years

Also had the front lowered 20mm and the rear lowered 10mm.



After this shot I am actually liking the bronze+grey combo, I dont want to redo them in white as I just love how the front wheels are dirty but isnt as noticable with white wheels! I'm just going to look into getting some bronze touch up paint and redoing all the gutter rash haah!

At the lowest point of the front lip it clears the concrete barrier by 3-5mm. Was a bit scary!

Got the rest of my drivetrian parts, new CMC and CSC and Stage 1 sports organic

Just gotta source an OEM LSD and wait till Julie wears out the clutch haha!

hey guys. just got back attempting to install the em1 cmc with a no go. Main issue being, spacing between bolts, dunno how these would fit the RSX.

Type S's of the facelift nature run k20z1 engines I believe. The k20a3 is a base model engine and the k20a2 is the pre-facelift dc5r engine (And Type S over in USA).

Julie officially look over the car this morning.

Been almost 4 years with this car. I remember looking initially buy an slk after getting my first property. Lost way too much money from the sharemarket and decided to buy myself a car to keep my mind at hand. Was looking in 350z and realised after a month of looking - nah its a 2 seater... cbf. Looked at cheaper options like bb6 prelude. Came very close to buying onebut the nrma inspection wasnt up to my expectation. My good mate sugi suggested dc5 type s. Had alook on carsales. Showed parents and had a look at it that night. Ended up buying it off the old lady the next morning and wow. All my effort, time, money have been spent on this car. What a journey! If there are any new car buyers or anyone considering a dc5. Hand on heart you cant beat it for value. Ticks all the options imo!

Dont think i be modding the car at all anymore. But when a part does fail or wear out, will definiately consider something aftermarket!

Looking forward to that gearbox rebuild hopefully by the end of 2014. Lets see how well julie holds up on the original clutch!
