Check everything in your suspension guy. A fixed toe amount, even if uneven from side to side, will generally not wear one front tyre significantly more than another. This is because the tyres will always self centre to the alignment that gives the least rolling resistance, so if you have say 10mm toe in on the left front wheel with the steering straight ahead, and the front right wheel is set correctly to zero toe as soon as the car is moving the steering wheel will rotate to the left and you'll end up with the wheel off centre, and 5mm of toe in at both front wheels and equally buggered front tyres. Roughly. Of course the other angles matter too and will affect the toe under load (Camber, caster, SAI etc.).

So I'd investigate something that might be moving under load at only one corner and scrubbing that tyre. Either that or you're doing too many skids and that wheel always spins first.

I've got a few loose 15x8 6ULs if you want to test fit, but from what I've seen some EK guys have contact on the top of the rear trailing arm where it meets the upper control arm.

I did a bit of research before purchasing them to see if they would fit without spacers and i didn't find any information requiring me to fit them. Although, after getting them installed, they are EXTREMELY close to the rear camber arms and the trailing arm. Both the Tyre and the Rim.

Good family you have there buddy! Keep it tight!
And good job on minimizing the waste of materials... alot of people don't realize how expensive material can quickly become!
Thanks mate! This is true, as good a deal i got on all the materials, it was still pretty expensive!

What you said about the toe self-aligning itself was exactly what i thought. The only downside to having a toe adjustment slightly off would be that the steering wheel wouldn't be completely center when driving straight.
Considering my car is listing towards the left hand side, and is also not willingly centering the steering wheel after a corner, i suspect it may be irregularities in my SAI or my camber. These are probably the only two things i could narrow it down to,and they just so happen to be controlled by the same part of my car (Upper arms). Considering more SAI increases straight line stability and better self centering (Yet i already have quite a bit of SAI based off the amount my upper arms are moved back), should i look into increasing my scrub radius via spacers? After i check for bent/loose parts or irregularities of course.

Thanks for the advise, will really have to check the suspension out in a little more depth either way by the sounds of things......Or lay off the skids!

Spent some of this afternoon making a fire extinguisher bracket in preperation for H.Nats. Pics are below.

can you reach, unbuckle and remove that fire extinguisher when strapped into your harness?

Don't have a harness, i still have the stock seatbelt. But no, if i was completely strapped in a harness and restricted in my seat, i would not be able to reach it without unbuckling something.

Althought this is based off assumption as i have not actually tried yet.

Why do you ask if you don't mind me asking?

some CAMS officials like to think it is safer if it is in immediate reach when you are trapped after a crash... just so you can stop yourself catching on fire until the rescue truck arrives... but yeah, depends why you fitted it really?

eeek! how does it hold you in your seat?

I thought as much. It's probably as close as i could get whilst not being in the way of the passenger or in a really obscure spot. I fitted it because of H.Nats requirement to have a fire extinguisher but it's nice to have just in case the worst happens.

For daily driving, perfectly. For spirited driving, pretty good. For track driving, im assuming pretty averagely haha. I just ordered a seatbelt extender so it fits me in the seat a bit better so hopefully that will make a difference.

You never know, someone else might need it and you might be there at the right time

nah, i meant if you crash, not for driving...

sorry, but it is just really unsafe to change your seat and not put an appropriate seat belt to match it.

have you thought about fitting the fire extinguisher under your drivers seat?
