I'm just going by what happens first as i won't be installing it for abit longer..

Well not much has changed on the DC5, got the GruppeM in and i tell you what it does feel better then the Injen CAI... Main reason for the purchase was because i need this part down the track further.

Will be making a purchase for a set of wheels before Cup Day and then i'll be jetting off to Malaysia for 10 days with the family and missus, going to be seeing some family friends up there whilst were there....
Going to Ipoh and then Kuala Lumpur!

When i come back, hopefully the bank account isn't to sore, i'll be making a few more purchase but i might have a look up there for some JDM goodies as i might be able to get a few things cheaper i hope.

Anyway, for now i leave you with these.

        Hey!!

        What's been happening?

How different is the GruppeM compared to Injen?

Are you finding more responsiveness low-mid end?

I imagine cabin noise has increased due to GruppeM being closer... that must be pure sex =D.

          Hey bud,
Not really alot, enjoying a good get away so the car has even neglected abit lol.

There 2 different intakes, the Injen being made primarily of piping and then a pod filter on the end which is exposed and leaves the possibility of hydro-locking.

The GruppeM is a enclosed airbox with a scuttle (similar to a bonnet scoop I guess?) near your windscreen whipers. It's a very good design and the quality of it is second to none.... If you love carbon fibre, your either going to get this intake or j's racing lol. The intake does have a 'drain hole' built into it so of water does get inside the chamber, it does have an exit.... It's meant to be hydrolock proof but instill think its possible to hydrolock in really bad conditions.

The cabin noise has gotten slightly louder as you've expected, the note of the intake during 'VTEC' is also different, more of a rumble... Sounds more aggressive in my opinion. I feel like you gain slightly more torque from
This intake over the injen BUT i would assume they'd be roughly on par with each other.
          GruppeM >> INJEN

          Thats my thoughts.

          Home time today guys!
Shopping as soon as I'm back!

What strut brace are you running Carl?
It looks like it clears the GruppeM and allows you to keep the OEM strut on also?

I've been looking for a strut that meets those two requirements =]

                  Yeah
A fixed drivers bucket seat is on my agenda aswell!

                  Small update...
Just made a small purchase right now at 1.18am LOL.
Will hopefully have the items towards the end of January!
Details to come when the items arrive

                    Small minor update.
Went to TechSport on Monday after making a phone call at around 12pm...
I was very shocked at the fact they were able to fit me in at 3pm to fit my Todds Tie Rods and do an alignment for a very good price.
Tom (ChargeR), thank you for suggesting them to me, Jeff and Zac were very helpful and actually stayed open until 7pm to get my car finished and aligned for me!!
I couldn't thank them enough as not many places would stay open this late to finish a job for a customer needless to say i will be seeing them again!

I have my alignment sheet somewhere around, if i can find it in the car, i'll post up the specs.

                    Also today, i went to Tyrepower North Melb, got some new RE002 put on the rear of the DC5, specs at the moment are;
                    245/40/17 - Front
                    235/45/17 - Rear
I swapped my 245/40 to the front as the 255's were worn and had seen better days, Chris and Mark did a great price so i quickly snapped them up.

Now im just doing all the minor things of getting the car ready for Winton's last tampered day of the year which i believe is the 16th December.

Thanks mate, im happy you enjoyed reading it.

                        --------------
Installed my O2 Extender Harness Thrusday at TPNM, thanks to the boys for letting me do so as they were aligning my car.
I can say that my engine light is now off and this has solved my problem, i've heard of others needing defoulers etc but for me, this wasn't the case.

The harness i bought is readily available from ClubRSX, if you scroll through this thread you'll see a photo of my harness.

Attended the JDMST Dyno Day yesterday (24/11/12)
Pulled 119.7kw on my third run (First run started at 112kw) and i was relatively happy with that being on a Mainline AWD Dyno.

I think it might be time to invest in a Hondata Kpro especially since Dan from RTR gave me some feedback which i was really appreciative of.

                          2 photos of the day...
Waiting for a few more to pop up...

Definately recommend the Kpro, makes a huge difference with your power delivery
