Eddie, yes you are correct but i have spoken to GMPRacing Products, this is why i didn't reply straight away as i was awaiting a phone call. The way i have the harness wrapped is perfectly fine but Steve from GMPRacing has recommended i get clarification that will tell me 100% that it's okay but from the additional photos i showed him, he see's the harness doing no damage to myself in the event of an accident which was a positive.

So until i have clarification, i'll leave it as is as im not going to any track days till probably October as there isn't a Tampered day in September (I think).
Will keep this thread posted with further updates as they occur.

Just because someone works at Mcdonalds, doesn't make him a chef.

No need to take it to heart bro, i did take your advice on board and i've already swapped the harness around but i was just looking for another opinion.
I've no longer crossed the harness in an 'X' factor. The harness is now parallel, so left goes left and right goes right, i appreciate you making your comment and after-all, if it wasn't for your input i wouldn't of looked into the details anymore than what i had so i say thank you

Pretty sure you took his advice incorrectly, Carl. You had it incorrectly placed as it was wrapped around the harness bar, not because they were in an 'X factor'.

The X factor is correct! you need that!!

Not much has really occurred with the DC5 apart from keeping her clean and taking her for abit of a drive here and there.

The parts that have been sitting at home for a while...

              O2 Extender Harness - ClubRSX

J's Racing Braided Clutch Line - JDMConcept

              J's Racing RCA - JDMConcept

J's Racing Fender Braces - JDMConcept

GruppeM Induction Kit - ClubITR User

Definitely going to be getting the GruppeM in as soon as possible as i really think the INJEN CAI needs to go. The car is making very slow progress due to some slow work movements, hoping to be at my next track day in November, i just need to stock up on some spare parts and replace a few things.
I think the car could use an aftermarket ECU and some tuning but with the amount of driving I'll be doing, i don't see the need for it just yet, i might aim to have one before my next track day but will see how things go.

I am, but the fenders braces won't be going on till later in the year, few other parts have to come first.

Nice bunch of parts. Since your changing the clutch line, should change the clutch master as well. I don't personally think its the line that reduces the flex, but more the master cylinder.

Thanks for the tip, i might not change the master just yet till i do the gearbox in the New Year or when my current clutch gives way. Purpose of buying the SS line was that when i was on track i remember that the clutch pedal felt 'spongy' i guess you could say, im hoping this will help fix the problem. There is nothing wrong with the current OEM Clutch i have as it still feels very good but as you said it could possibly be the master cylinder... I'll wait for one of the two to give way first.

Not sure if you want the CMC to give, it doesn't give a lot of warning. I know a couple of guys who have had theirs go at the lights, leaving them stranded.

I'll be doing both CMC and CMS when I do my clutcch, and doing the clutch line fo rthe fun of it.. but like norm said the CMC is more important to elminating that spongey doughy feel u talk about
