Chyeaaaah, just got my car back.
Engine mounts make a WORLD of difference. Car is so much more responsive, gear changes are so much smoother. I can notice the cabin vibrations during idle, but meh whatever - i can deal with it (http://s3.amazonaws.com/kym-assets/p...gif?1275684729)
Toda headers are awesome too. I don't know how to explain the sound difference ... it's like the car is breathing so much better now. I just need ecu tune to maximise all these bolt-ons!
Would take pics but it's too dark atm, fuuuuuuu. Might be going to the JDMST meet so maybe a few pics will pop up from there .... otherwise shitty iPhone pics for tomorrow!

Thanks dude. The mounts feel awesome! Probably one of the best mods I've done so far. Car is more responsive, gear changes are so much smoother ... there is some cabin vibration at idle, but I doubt you'd really notice it unless you were looking out for it.
which mounts are you getting in? (hardrace ... innovative?)

(this post isn't exactly related to my car but I can't be bothered creating a whole new thread for it )
So I just got back today from my Japan trip! Amazing place, I would highly recommend anyone to travel there. There's heaps to do ... whether you want to go sight seeing, meet new people, check out the night life etc. I could go into all sorts of details, but then the post would drag on for far too long ... so if anyone has any specific questions feel free to ask
Anywho, I was lucky that during my stay the bienniel Tokyo Motor Show was on! A bunch of cars from manufacturers all over the world were put on display (including concept cars :O). Not only cars, but the manufacturers for all sorts of car parts. At this time, Japan is really friggin' cold (at least for me lol), but soon after you walk in, it gets warm because of the sheer number of people there. I was actually quite surprised at how many people there were. There's HEAAAPS of area dedicated to all the various displays. It doesn't fit into one of the gigantic rooms ... but three of them! Or four ... I might've missed, dunno lol. Not gonna lie, after some hours of walking around, bumping into people over and over and stepping toes vice versa, I started getting a bit fed up and couldn't really be bothered to keep looking at much more. But I made sure to look at all the major euro and jap cars!
fairly busy >_>
Nissan GTR! I wanted to get in the drivers seat but there was a massive queue for it ... so I just sat in the passenger side instead
Subaru BZR + stylish looking japanese chick
Back view of the car
Mazda
hmmmm

One day later we headed for Tsukuba raceway! We woke up nice and early to make our way for the long-ish trip there! After transferring from the moderm metro train to an old school diesel train, we ended up here
That sign just on the left of the picture says taxi in japanese. A tiny little taxi rank that seems to only have 2 taxi drivers on duty at a time. The taxi themselves are pretty old too ... they don't change gears via the gear-stick in the middle, instead it's situated adjacent to the steering column
It's supposed to say "Auto Look Racing" ... keen for reicing!
Info centre out the front
Entrance to the raceway
The only DC5 that I saw that day ... and it was getting annhilated by eg/ek hatch civics
Super loud and fast DC2R

Nice black RX8 ... pity it ended up crashing though from what I remember, his front bumper was laaaaaaters and his rear quarter panel was fubar

FN2R sedan!
Nice looking white s2000
Mmm! If I remember correctly, this s2000 was a little messed up, body wise. Cracks/dents around bumpers and stuff. Infact, most of the cars had some sort of damage somewhere
Pretty fast civic ... definitely loud too lol
Small stand where you can buy various items
There were a hell of a lot of s2000 and civics at the track! The civics and most of the integras were loooooooud as! There was even a ute racing on the day .... lol. I'll try and upload some videos of the races on youtube later
